Merciful Jesus, You who have died on the cross for me, help me to rely increasingly on you, because sometimes I have fear of you and your righteousness, and I miss your love and infinite goodness.
Jesus, if both have done for me, suffer and die that way so cruel to rescue from the hands of Satan, then I can not doubt your forgiveness for my many and grievous sins, because you do not forsake the work of your hands, and my conversion and sanctification are the work of yours.
And if the Father did not hesitate to surrender to death and torture for my sake, then I hope that my heart will also look benign, and what joy that the Father looks at me with eyes of love, despite my faults!
